Grant & Kathy Finally got married on September 18th! Sue Ann (Renfro) Gosdoski - 03-06-2009
Hey how come nothing was sent out to the class of 1979 for your 30th reunion? I would have loved to come and see some of my old friends. It looks like we aren't going to have one either because nothing is set up at least yet. I will tell you though if the class of 1978 makes a decision to go on a cruise for ya'lls 35th reunion, I am coming along too. Janet Sullivan-Lowry - 08-04-2008
For those of you who grew up in the Park – Many of you went to school with Kevin Casey from the hood. Kevin lived a couple doors down from me when I was a baby and still resided on my parent’s street --- Many of us went to Skyview Elementary and Pinellas Park Junior High. He left DHHS for PPHS in 10th grade when the new HS was built. Kevin graduated in 1978 from Pinellas Park High School. Kevin passed away this morning at home… My mother called to let me know… Neighbors for 47 years...I have not seen Kevin in years except to wave on the street around the holidays but wanted to pass this information on to remind us all that life is precious and friends, good friends are forever. Whew! This reunion was so much fun. Fifteen individuals of different walks of life got together to plan this event. While doing so, the committee shared sorrow with the death of loved ones and classmates. We shared joy with new births and a son returning from Iraq. And, we even rediscovered true love. We had many different ideas and views, but joined together as one to plan what was a great reunion. I sincerely hope those who made the event feel the same and thoroughly enjoyed the time spent with old friends. Jeannie Buchanan - 06-28-2008
I finally made a reunion, and grand it was! I am sorry I missed the others but I was always so tied up that I could not make it. I am glad I did not wait until the 50th!
It was so good to see everyone. Let me know about the Cruise in 5 years. I will do my best to be aboard.
Those who took my email address, please keep in touch! I will try to do the same.

It was so GREAT to see everyone. In looking at the pictures posted,I didn't even get to talk with everyone, and those you get to talk to, it just went too fast! But what a great time!
I am so happy this came at the time it did. It gave me great comfort to be around people that loved my father the same year of his passing. The committee has truly become my family. The bond that took place this past year planning this reunion was unbeleiveable!I love my committee family!
To see each of you was a comfort, I realize that it wasn't so bad being the principals daughter, you all loved my dad too. I know he loved all of you. I also can't beleive a lot of us went to school together all the way from elementary school. That's a bond, that we can all come together as if we did not miss a beat.I can't wait til the 35th. I say let's all go on a cruise!!!! PARTY ON REBELS!!!!!!Love all of you. Lynn Hallam Gundry

Just got back today to NC today, being home is good but man do I miss my reunion family! Linda and Janet - kudos to you. You two were the foundation of this entire project.
I would do it all again in a heartbeat. This was the absolute best time ever! I can't wait for the 35th.
Leesa Walsh - 06-27-2008
Well everyone has summed up my experience, it was great to see everyone again. It really doesn't feel like 30 years later when we are all together. I want to thank everyone involved with making this happen. I have to agree with Grant, as much as I was ready to go home a part of me didn't want it to end Sunday. Until we all meet again, take care and be safe!

Hi Grant ,
I think that would be great to have another reunion in 5 years and I am all for the cruise idea.
Take, Care

I would like to personally thank everyone who attended this party!! We have really not missed a beat! The class of 78 is GREAT now and forever.
As for the committee members, I love you all, I wouldn't trade the planning side of this event for a minute, but then again I didn't do as much as Linda and Janet!! I have posted a few pics, so enjoy! Grant Doutt - 06-25-2008
Even though I was part of the reunion committee, I want to give a big THANK YOU to both Linda and Janet for all you did for this class and this reunion. Without the two of you this would not have been anything like it was. I know I speak for both Kathy and myself when I say we had what I consider one of the best times we have had in a long, long time. There was plenty to do as well as have a little bit of down time. I know for myself I hated to see all of this come to and end on Sunday morning. We worked so hard for the last year and a half and developed great friendships among all the committee members. I know I will miss the banter and emails about the 'next meeting'. But I will say to all of you I would do it again in a heartbeat. To our classmates, we loved doing this and bringing this event to you. Please pass the word of how awesome this event was and encourage our other classmates to attend our future events. Until we meet again, and I hope it is soon.

My twin boys Brent, Brett and I had a FANTASTIC time @ the re-union! Although this was my first it most certainly will not be my last! It was just marvelous to see people I had not seen in 30 years! There were many relationships built during this reunion. More of us will stay in contact with one another than we have over these 3 decades. I am so looking forward to the next reunion and yes I am in total agreement.....let's not wait for 10 years to pass by let's do this again in 5 years. Sharing this treasured event with my children was a blessing! They really enjoyed meeting people that went to high school with me. I am looking forward in seeing everyone from this year and more at the next one.....until then everyone be blessed.....love ya!!! Kathy Hubbard Englert - 06-23-2008
This was the best reunion ever! Grant and I had a blast! It was great seeing everyone and I felt like the weekend went by too fast. I loved seeing my old friends and making new ones. I wish we had more time to re-connect...but at least we are in the technology age where we can keep up to date with each other via e-mail. I would love for our class to have a 35th because 10 years is much too long of a wait to do it again!
